DATUM Estates is directed by Paul A Richards who arrived in Spain in 1999 after 18 months of world travel. He has been involved with property on Costa del Sol “every day” since June 2002 and so knows the coast; its developments and people; the property business’ ways and conventions; and so is an excellent guide for sellers and buyers. He lives near Selwo, in the heart of our special area.

DATUM is a division of Ferguson Eley S.L., trading as Survey Spain Chartered Surveyors. Its two principal directors are Campbell D Ferguson F.R.I.C.S. and Christian S Eley M.R.I.C.S., both members of the UK’s Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Campbell first started working in Spain in Madrid 1989 and on the Costa del Sol in 2001. Chris has lived and worked here since 1997, part of that time being with an international construction company. Gordon Neilson BSc (Engineering) directs the Snagging/First Occupation Inspections division. We have appropriate professional indemnity insurance covering the work of all the divisions.
